Even with the world slowly returning to normal, virtual support groups are a great way to get support from the community. Whether it be that your nearest in person group is hours away, or you are not feeling well enough to attend an in person meeting, we got your back. 1) Mountainside’s LGBTQ Recovery Support Group

“Research suggests that members of the LGBTQ community are at higher risk for depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. If you’re struggling with addiction or mental health issues as a result of prejudice or adversity you’ve faced as a member of the LGBTQ community, you’ll find support and solace here.

Moderated by caring Mountainside professionals, this online meeting is a safe and convenient outlet for you to discuss the challenges you face and learn how to stand strong on your road to recovery.

2) Stress and Anxiety Online Group

Join us on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm for connecting with others and getting tips on relieving anxiety and loneliness in this stressful world. Especially during Covid-19 people feel more alienated and anxious. Find ways to manage and thrive.

3) Wellbeing Wednesdays

Wednesday’s with Sarah have become the embodiment of balance in our week. If your week is a seesaw, Wednesday is the center, where you can choose which direction you want to lean into during the remainder of the week.

4) OMO’s Craft and Chat

Love to craft? Miss hanging out, talking with others while you craft, knit, sew, embroider, weave, or cross-stitch?

All skills levels welcome, beginner to expert. Not interested in fiber arts, but love to craft and chat? Bring along your latest project, because you’re also welcome!

Craft and Chat meets on the third Monday of every month at 7pm est., with a different craft featured each month. Invite friends and make new ones!
