With spooky season almost over, and us fully recovered from all of the exciting events we offered for September, it is time to look towards November, the season of gratitude. In September we did a new virtual event every Friday. What we learned from that is 1) you guys love our events and 2) Fridays are maybe not the best day for them.
When we started hosting virtual events, we were in the midst of a lockdown that none of us had ever experienced in our lifetimes. We decided to host these events on Friday nights in order to provide an answer to “It’s Friday night… what do I do?”. We will now be moving our events to Thursday evenings at 7pm ET moving forward.
Our last Friday panel will be held this Friday at 7pm ET and is our Sober is the New Black panel which is a Conversation about Fashion, Mental Health, and Sobriety featuring a variety of sober fashion designers. They will discuss their experiences of the fashion industry and its views on mental health and sobriety. This panel will be hosted by Ms. Guyana 2020, Janice Macgregor. And as always, tickets are free.
Our first Thursday panel will be held on Thursday, November 18th at 7pm ET. This panel will feature sober influencers who will discuss lessons they have learned during recovery and what they are grateful for as we look towards 2022. As always, replays of our panels are on our YouTube channel for anyone who cannot tune in live. I am looking forward to seeing you all in November and Friday night for our Sober is the New Black panel!
