An interactive workshop aimed at helping participants develop healthy coping skills.
About this Event
An interactive workshop aimed at helping participants understand the potential mental health effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic and helping participants develop positive coping strategies. Participants will learn about signs of mental health distress and then we will all work together to create a long list of healthy coping strategies, including but not limited to: spending time with your pets, nurturing a garden (or indoor plants), taking deep breaths, and adding physical activity to your day.
In order to do our part in stopping the spread of COVID-19, we are holding all of our free community presentations on an online format for now. We will be hosting our presentations using Zoom. I recommend logging on 10 or more minutes prior to the start of the presentation in case you need to download the Zoom application or in case there are any other technical issues you encounter.
Enjoy our Free Presentations? Please consider making a small donation to Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado so that we can continue offering free online presentations: https://donate-usa.keela.co/donation-form-a
